We will provide you with paddles, PFDs and waterproof bags. Sunscreen and bug spray is recommended as well as clothes you're comfortable getting wet in.

Snacks are also a great idea to keep you going! Randall Park located right on the river makes a great spot to pull up your boat and have a picnic!

We will go over basic kayaking technique & etiquette to ensure our paddlers are comfortable out on the water, all of our boats are very beginner friendly and stable (For more information about boats see our rentals page). The river is usually calm with a gentle current.

Absolutely! Dogs work best in canoes, although small dogs can often fit in our recreational kayaks. Just let us know you're bringing your pal. We unfortunately don't have PFDs for dogs, so please bring your own.

You can! On our side of the bridge, you can fish with no license as the river is semi-tidal. Canoes usually work best, make sure to bring your own bait and gear! For more information about what's in the water visit our Maps & Wildlife section!
